From that moment on, you are officially part of the welcome team. If you see someone approaching, please acknowledge them: smile, wave, say hi, introduce yourself. No pressure to make a best friend for life, just give them an in. “Hola” is perfect. “Hi, I’m xx” is perfect. Spanish, English, Spanglish, el que te quede mejor :)
