THIS MONTH'S TOPIC: Friendship

Argentines are good at a lot of things - soccer, tango, disrespecting personal space - but they excel the most at friendship. It's really not up for debate, just FYI. This month, we will explore the time-honored institution that is amistad in all its forms as well as the nuances of making friends as an adult living abroad. From the grupos to the questions nobody asks to the stress surrounding Friend's Day (yes, that's a thing), no stone is left unturned.

Roma is a must-visit spot in Buenos Aires. It’s like traveling back in time. A corner in the middle of the quilombo porteño that opened in 1927 and in 2019 was bought (or saved?) by a group of friends (our saviors! thank God, thank you 🙏), restored, and elevated with the best pizzas and empanadas (OMG) in the county.
