+ info 👇🏻
If you’ve ever walked through Buenos Aires on a Sunday and thought “what is that perfume insuperable?” : that’s asado.
Not just a food, but a mood. A ritual we’ve been rehearsing since childhood.
Meet Vicky, our meat sommelier (yes, that even exists).
Vicky Vago is a political scientist turned butcher turned carne sommelier. Yes, all three. And somehow it makes perfect sense.
She believes that meat is political, that knowing what you eat matters, and that some of the most delicious cuts in Argentina are the ones nobody talks about: the ones that don’t come with the marketing fanfare of the ojo de bife or the bife de chorizo, but the kind of flavor locals love. She’ll guide you through the parrilla like a friend who grew up doing this every weekend… because she did.
The Setting: Villa Crespo.
Tucked between Palermo and Chacarita, Villa Crespo is that neighborhood that stays local even while getting trendy. Local, bold, fútbol-obsessed (hello Atlanta). We host you in a hidden spot that feels like the backyard of a friend you haven’t met yet. You’ll hear music, smell fire, drink wine, talk about life.
All tied together by Las Argies, who (humble brag) have mastered the art of hosting.
We’re not chefs. We’re not a restaurant. We’re just wildly passionate about bringing people together.
PLEASE NOTE:
Ours are not just regular tours. We take the time to actually get to know people, adapt things as needed, and make sure you leave with something unforgettable (and hopefully with new friends in Buenos Aires).
This is a private, boutique experience, and meant to feel like going over to a friend’s place. If you feel like this is something you appreciate, then you are welcome to join us. If you’re looking for something bigger or more touristy, we’ll happily point you in the right direction :)
